In the 800m on her home soil Lynsey Sharp showed there was no way she was going home without a medal stormed home 80 meters to go to be rewarded with the Silver medal. The stadium erupted with a standing ovation for Lynsey.

Away from the track, our field event athletes were getting a piece of the action too Tosik Oke put on a gallant display to be rewarded with the Sliver medal in the Triple Jump event.
Levern Spence equally showing her determination by placing 3rd awarding her with the bronze medal for the High Jump.

David Verburg is 400m star athlete in the making. He has shown in his time at George Mason University that his performances, attitude and training ethic will allow his transition in becoming a professional athlete be a smooth one. David will undoubtedly be one to watch.
Stellar Athletics are very pleased to announce the signing of collegiate star Brianna Rollins.  Brianna's 12.39 100mh performance, was not only a collegiate record, but the fastest time in the world for over 5 yrs. We at Stellar look forward to working with Brianna to make her professional career a major success.

Stellar Athletics sign Charlene Lipsey.  Charlene has shown from her collegiate performances, that she is ready for the professional ranks.  We at Stellar will help guide Charlene and work to make her athletic dreams come true.
In the European championships in Gateshead, Jessica Judd won the European cup 800m, her first senior title with a time of 2:00.82.
Star hurdler Brianna Rollins broke the 13 year American record and took 13 hundredths off her time to make 12.26. Many of our athletes broke records please see the full news report here
Congratulations to Desiree Henry for her fine performance in the European Juniors. Desiree achieved a silver medal in the 200m with a time of 23.56 into a -2.2 wind here

Stellar Athletics enjoyed a jubilant time at the Commonwealth. Our athletes showed strength and determination as they put
themselves to the test We achieved personal best as well as finalise and 8 fantastic medals to top the list.
